How the AI4B Summit Helped Me Find My Focus with AI

For me,the biggest difference was seeing AI tools demonstrated in practical, real-world workflows. I could follow the process, see how the pieces connected, and start thinking about where those same approaches might fit into my own work. The demonstrations covered a range of uses: creating avatars, supporting multimedia production, analyzing spreadsheets, building dashboards, and automating repetitive tasks. I also saw examples of using AI with calendars and email to help plan and prioritize days and weeks.
Some of those applications were already on my radar. Others introduced possibilities I hadn’t considered. Seeing the workflows in action helped me move beyond the question of what a tool could do. I could begin to understand how I might actually use it. That saved me the effort of piecing everything together on my own and gave me a practical starting point.
After the Summit, I began incorporating some of the tools and approaches into my multimedia projects. I also started automating tasks I used to handle manually. But the biggest change was in my mindset. I realized I don’t need to learn every AI tool that comes along. I need to identify the tools that can help me in my business, creative work, and personal life—and spend my time learning those. That realization gave me a more useful way to approach AI. When I discover a new tool, I can ask: Does this solve a problem I have? Could it improve something I do regularly? Is it worth making room for in my workflow?
That’s why I’m sharing my experience with the AI4B Summit. Even as someone who already used AI daily, I came away with new ideas and practical ways to put them to work. If you’re interested in AI but feel overwhelmed by the choices, seeing real workflows can help you identify a next step. If you’re already using AI, you may discover an approach you hadn’t considered.
You don’t have to figure everything out at once. Start with one useful application.
